All Unnao rape incident-related cases will be moved from UP to Delhi: SC

The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the transfer of all Unnao rape incident related cases from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi. A top court bench headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi also sought full details of the probe status into the Unnao rape case as well as the accident case involving a truck from the CBI.

'Builders cannot pay EMIs on behalf of buyers'

The developers will no longer be able to incentivise buyers by paying the latter’s home loan EMIs. The National Housing Bank has asked mortgage companies to desist from offering loan products that involve servicing of the dues by builders, developers, etc, on behalf of the borrowers. The circular is expected to cut off one of the cheaper sources of funds for builders.

Hotel worker held for killing friend after brawl

Cyberabad police arrested a 50-year-old man for murdering his close friend at Chandanagar on July 16. The accused, Syed Abdul Shareef, son of Syed Abdul Moinuddin, is a hotel worker from Pittalageri in Sadashivpet of Sanga Reddy district.
